Check out U7Buy for LoL boosting and more game services! The League of Legends Arena is a game mode catering to players that like to team up in duos. The mode pits four teams against each other. So, we have eight players that fight in rotating rounds. This is a temporary mode. This means that it is not available all year round. It’s one of the things that make the mode even more exciting. It’s a new way to play the game that you shouldn’t miss. We will see how this mode works and anything else you need to know about it. The Arena mode is available until the end of August. You have plenty of time to jump into it.
How League of Legends Arena Games Work
Let’s start with the most important thing: the Arena mechanics. We mentioned that this League of Legends mode is played in rounds. The battles are fought on four distinct battlefields. The concept, dimensions, and terrain density are different for each battlefield. You can expect to see heroes from the Soul Fighter universe in your match. Only one team wins an Arena game. Players can queue for the Arena with a party or alone. Each player gets a ban. You do not know what your opponents will select. The Arena does not have runes and summoner spells. Each round features two phases. There is a buy phase and a fight phase. You can select an augment or gold that you can spend on items in the buy phase. In the first two phases, you receive 1,000 gold. You can get a starter item with that money. Most of the time, you will buy such an item because they are really good. After you have a starter item and the boots, you receive more gold for the buy phase. The sum is tripled, so you get 3,000 gold. The fight phase is for 2 versus 2 battles. The winning team keeps its overall HP. The losing team loses HP. We mentioned surprise appearances from Soul Fighters. However, don’t rely on their help. They may be there to help or hinder you. Players cannot create custom Arena games. If Arena will return, the developers are considering implementing custom lobbies.
Is League of Legends Arena a Balanced Game Mode?
The developers created Arena as a competitive mode. Balance is very important because all players want to enjoy the game on the same level. In order to make this happen, the team had to make all champions and strategies feasible. This means that nerfs and boosts had to happen. Percent modifiers were applied. Some changes to champions and items were also on the list. For example, Liandry’s Anguish item had its AP reduced to 70 from 80. Balance adjustments for this game mode will be introduced, if necessary, in future game patches. Heroes, such as Veigar, that rely on stacking were reworked to get stacks over time instead of getting stacks when defeating minions. The items that were uniquely designed for the Arena will remain in the Arena. The team does not plan to put these items into other modes. At least, not in the foreseeable future. These items are conceived to work only with the Arena mechanics. Putting them in their current state in other modes is something that is not possible now. However, the team does not exclude the possibility of updating the items to work in other modes. The same goes for augments. They won’t leave the Arena and make it into other LoL modes. The Arena is available until August 28th but might return in the future. If you are looking to improve your game, read more here!
